Birthday Celebration at the Cowgirl Hall of Fame

This is a little out of order but I also wanted to mention that my actual birthday celebration on April 1st at the Cowgirl Hall of Fame was a lovely time thanks to everyone who came. Lovely, lovely.

As part of my birthday month celebration last night I went to Roller Jam USA on Staten Island with Sarah and Francisco. It was humming! Underlit skates, sangria, people with more dance skill on wheels than I have without. Of course my lovely new flip camera was out of juice so I could only use my phone to record the event. The sound quality is terrible but you can sort of make out the song. If anyone knows what it is actually called let me know.

Getting ready to turn 40

It's been a while since I really used this blog. The last couple of months I've been pinging my tweets and so you can see what's been going on in my mini blog in the archives for February and March. But I'm about to try blogging sincerely for a month as I celebrate turning 40 through a variety of activities. Not only will I announce the activities here but then follow up how the events went, who came, what we did, etc. You can also check out the links to some of the activities in advance on the right side of the screen in the section labeled "Links for April."

just got everything she wanted at Target. You know this means she didn't got to the one on Atlantic.

just chatted with Ron Albertson on 7th Ave in Brooklyn. Aaah living in a smalltown/big city.

is thinking her sleep deficit is at an all time high. But it has been fun.

is wearing her "corn" hat today. You know and she knows, but do the others know?

is not angry with Bruno so much as the rubberband that he so enjoyed playing with on the bed at 5am this morning. Ah sleep, how I miss thee.

is thinking that pretty much all the music she listens to regularly these days she was introduced to by Andrew and Giso. Thank you both.
